I was never the most athletic or coordinated growing up. In fact, for most of my childhood I was bullied for not being on a sports team and I hated gym class because I was so out of my element. Puberty hit me hard though, and I guess it the best way possible! And all of a sudden I was playing on any sports team I could! Basketball and field hockey were the two sports that I stuck with throughout high school, but an injury in my last year ended my competitive playing career. It was through the process of rehab that I found my passion for nutrition, health, and fitness. I found a love for weightlifting and have stuck with it ever since!
I am currently in school to become a Registered Dietitian. Nutrition, health, and fitness are very important to me and my goal is to share this love with others! You will most likely find me at school or at the gym!

My hate for cardio. Don’t get me wrong, I used to be a runner… But then I found weightlifting. My workouts still incorporated HIIT and sprints, but long bouts of cardio just weren’t my idea of fun… Then I found spin!
